Statistical stupidity – part 3

Here’s a belting case of stating the bleedin obvious from the Manchester Evening News reporting on Barack Obama’s impressive win in South Carolina:

“Obama Barack received 55% of the vote, more than all his challengers combined”

Clearly all the staff at the paper give 110% to give themselves half a chance
