Maybe trying a bit too hard

While I was out enjoying some ‘dad & daughter’ time during half-term, I came across this diagram which explained car park charges.

This strikes me as a case of someone steadfastly determined to use a convention commonly used to make information seem simpler – the diagram, or perhaps just determined not to use text.

In truth, the information they are communicating actually isn’t that complicated. End result, something which is actually quite simple starts to look rather complicated.
